Downeast Pilates offers group mat classes and private or semi-private instruction on mat and all of the major apparatus including the trapeze table (cadillac), reformer, Wunda chair and barrel. A typical session begins on the mat or reformer and progresses to other apparatus depending on individual needs. Downeast Pilates follows the classical Pilates method that was developed by Joseph Pilates.
Pilates is for all ages and fitness levels. No previous experience is necessary as the program is based on levels of fitness from beginner to advanced.
