Linda Homer

Linda Homer
is a Power Pilates® Comprehensive Certified trainer and a Pilates Method Alliance Certified Pilates Teacher (PMA®-CPT). Linda has completed over 600 hours of training and apprenticeship in the Classical Method, and enhances her skills through continuing education.

She has studied with Pilates icons Lolita San Miguel (1st generation, taught by Joseph Pilates), Susan Moran-Perich and Bob Liekens (2nd generation).  She is currently enrolled in the Masters Program at The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado, with Amy Taylor Alpers and Rachel Taylor Segel.

Linda was introduced to Pilates through a knee injury. After finding much relief through Pilates, she became an avid student of the method. She opened her first studio in 2006, and has been a full-time Pilates trainer ever since.

She has worked with athletes, dancers, figure skaters, golfers, tennis players, runners, swimmers, and professional hockey players, and believes in staying true to the original teachings of Joseph Pilates.

"I take great care to tailor each session to the needs of the client through modifications to the exercises, and cues, to build upon what has been learned so the client continues to be challenged.  Pilates is meant to be practiced for life.  With proper technique, Pilates can benefit people well into their 80's through strength, flexibility, balance and control.  My goal is for each client to leave with a greater understanding of the Pilates method and a better connection with the way their body moves.  I want them to learn how to perform the exercises safely and effectively, on their own, between sessions in the studio."
